Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. If not, tomorrow is Friday and you have the weekend to iron things out or just chill and relax a bit. My week has been full. I baked Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies yesterday for my husband. He has been after me to bake them for a few weeks. They turned out really well! He does not like raisins at all so cranberry it is!
Today is Fruitcake Day! I know a lot of people do not like fruitcakes but I think it is all in how the fruitcake is made. I don’t know. This is the first time that I have ever attempted to make one so we will see how it turns out. Right now, my fruits are soaking in a mixture of Three Roses Whiskey and Jack Daniels! I’ll be sure to let you guys know how they turn out!
Here are some of my newest layouts using Miss Fish Templates. All of the Templates are available at Gingerscraps and Scrapgirls.
That’s all for now, enjoy the rest of the week and be thankful for everything that you have. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Monday! I hope that it has not been your typical beginning of the week Monday. Hopefully, everyone has had a good day, and if you feel that you have not, sit down in a quiet place for just a few moments and reflect back on the day. I am sure that you will find something good in there somewhere.
My typical Monday is Laundry day. Come to think of it, if there is laundry that needs to be washed, every day could be laundry day. However, I like to start the laundry on Monday. Two loads completed and now I just have to fold and put things away. Somehow, that seems to always be the hardest part for me and takes the longest to get around to doing!
First thing this morning I had to drive up to the clinic to have blood work done. I have my yearly checkup tomorrow so this blood work will be a comprehensive panel, aka the works. I hate going anywhere to get blood work done because they can never find the veins in my arm and end up sticking me in the back of my hand. It doesn’t hurt any more or less while the blood is being taken but my hand always looks bruised afterward. Oh well, only for a short time.
So, at the beginning of October, I started creating layouts for Ms. Juli Fish of Miss Fish Templates. She has been selling at Gingerscraps for as long as I can remember but now she has a second store at Scrapgirls. This store opened on October 7th. If you are into digital scrapbooking and love templates, check out her store at Gingerscraps or stop by her store at Scrapgirls to see how it is progressing along.
I was only to be a Guest on her team for October and November but since she opened the new store, she took me on full-time to create layouts primarily for the store at Scrapgirls. I am so excited to be a part of her team. This is something that I have hoped to get for quite some time!
Here are some of the layouts that I have completed for her and they are posted at various places on Facebook. If you click on the link below the layout, you will be taken to the template that is available in her Scrapgirls.
All of the kits used in the making of these layouts are kits created by some of the designers at Scrapgirls and are available for purchase in the store.
That’s all of the news for now. Have a fantastic week and be safe in whatever you do.
