It is cold outside and while most of the US is under a blanket of snow right now, I am thankful that where I live is not, but it is definitely cold! 29 degrees (F) at 7 AM this morning. There was a small bit of rain during the night and there is ice on both of my decks out back but no snow!

Here are a few of the layouts that I have done so far, this month. Most of my layouts are challenge driven and the challenges in this post can be found at Gingerscraps.net.

Skywatchers, get those cameras ready as tonight, August 30, 2023, is the last time that you will be able to view the Super Blue Moon until 2037! That right, this year, August gets not only the second full moon, but also a very rare Super Blue Moon! The term “Blue” does not refer to the color of the moon but means that it is the second full moon in a calendar month. A supermoon refers to a full moon that occurs when the moon is closer to Earth in its orbit, resulting in a slightly larger and brighter appearance. So, tonight’s moon is a very special moon indeed – Super Blue Moon!

Because I am on the creative team at Gingerscraps, and because I have always been a big fan of Kim Lichtfuss’s artistry, I wanted to share this post from the Gingerscraps Facebook page.

Kim Lichtfuss, of Kimeric Kreations, was a renowned digital scrapbook designer known for her exquisite use of color and distinctive shabby design style. Kim poured her passion for creativity into every digital creation she designed. Tragically, she passed away in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable artwork. In honor of Kim’s memory and to keep her artistic spirit alive, her family has made the decision to share her extensive collection of work with the world. We invite you to explore and cherish the beautiful designs crafted by the talented Kim, celebrating her remarkable talent and the joy she brought to others through her art. https://store.gingerscraps.net/Kimeric-Kreations/
